Paris had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They walked away with a 35-28 victory over the Sanger Indians on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Indians: they've now won four in a row.

Sanger lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Reginald Jones, who rushed for 150 yards. Reed Sebastian also helped with two scores in total.

Paris wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 24-7 defeat against Pleasant Grove on the 5th. As for Sanger, they have also already played their next game, a 28-21 victory against Pottsboro on the 5th.
