Volleyball Recap: Sun Prairie West Comes Up Short

Sun Prairie West's tournament run continued when they took on Johnsburg on Saturday. The Wolves fell just short of the Skyhawks by a score of 2-1.

Olivia Quinton paced Sun Prairie West's offense, picking up ten kills. Quinton got some help from Sari Marks and her 14 assists.

Johnsburg was led to victory by Emily Loud and Abriana Bruns. Loud had five aces and three digs, while Bruns had eight digs and three assists. Those five aces gave Loud a new career-high.

Sun Prairie West has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-11 record this season. As for Johnsburg, they moved to 12-8 with that win, which also ended their four-match losing streak.
