Milwaukee King took a ten-run defeat the last time they faced off against Milwaukee Reagan, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Generals narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Huskies 6-5. This was a revenge game for the Generals: when they faced off against the Huskies on May 1st, they had to take a 10-0 loss.

Reece Perry was excellent, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Alex Jackson, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Milwaukee King's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-8. As for Milwaukee Reagan, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 12-1 and their overall record down to 17-6.

Milwaukee King will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Huskies: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
