Baseball Recap: Junipero Serra Has No Trouble Against Sacred Heart Prep

Junipero Serra never let their opponents score on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Sacred Heart Prep Gators with a sharp 6-0 win. The Padres haven't had any issues with the Gators recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Junipero Serra got a great performance from Riley Lim as he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out seven over five innings pitched. The dominant performance gave Lim a new career-high in strikeouts.

At the plate, Evan Bradshaw was incredible, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. What's more, he posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. Davis Minton was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

Junipero Serra's record now sits at 2-0. As for Sacred Heart Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Junipero Serra will take on Los Gatos in a tournament on Saturday. As for Sacred Heart Prep, they are headed away from home for the first time to square off against Mills at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
