Volleyball Recap: Highlands Comes Up Short

Highlands was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the East Central Hornets. If the Owls were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Hornets when the teams met back in August of 2018, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Highlands' defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for East Central, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Highlands wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Southside on the 15th. As for East Central, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Edison on the 15th.
