Volleyball Recap: John Hardin Bulldogs vs. Franklin-Simpson Wildcats
John Hardin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell just short of the Franklin-Simpson Wildcats by a score of 2-1. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2018.
John Hardin actually scored more points across those three sets (59-58), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 18-25, 25-21, 15-13.
Franklin-Simpson can attribute much of their success to Julia Warren, who had eight digs.
John Hardin's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Franklin-Simpson, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season.
