Parkside took a 55-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of KIPP College Prep. The Eagles have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.

Meanwhile, Paul Public Charter International took their match on Thursday with ease, bagging a 74-36 win over Thurgood Marshall Academy. The victory continues a trend for the Pirates in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won nine in a row.

Parkside's loss dropped their record down to 18-10. As for Paul Public Charter International, their win bumped their record up to 13-9.

Everything went Parkside's way against Paul Public Charter International when the teams last played back in January, as Parkside made off with an 84-61 victory.
