Football Game Preview: Hamilton Aggies vs. Good Hope Raiders + Official Tickets

The Hamilton Aggies will square off against the Good Hope Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Good Hope will be up against a hot Hamilton team: the squad just extended their winning streak to seven. The Aggies blew past Fultondale 62-15 on Friday. With the Aggies ahead 49-7 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Eli Harris and Mason Holloway were among the main playmakers for Hamilton as the former rushed for 151 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.4 yards per carry and the latter threw for 157 yards and a pair of TDs on only 14 passes. Houston Tibbs was another key player, picking up 100 receiving yards and one score.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Hamilton was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 260 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 170 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.

Hamilton didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Coley Gilstrap and Hayden Merchant. Gilstrap got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Good Hope against Curry on Friday as the team secured a 48-8 win. The victory continues a trend for the Raiders in their matchups with the Yellowjackets: they've now won five in a row.

Hamilton's win bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Good Hope, their victory bumped their record up to 6-0.
