Basketball Game Preview: Carlyle Indians/Lady Indians vs. Trico Pioneers

The Carlyle Indians/Lady Indians will be taking part in a tournament against the Trico Pioneers at 9:00 a.m. on Friday.

Carlyle will head out to face Trico after giving up their first home loss of the season on Friday. Carlyle took a 61-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of Wesclin. The loss put an end to the Indians/Lady Indians' undefeated start to the season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Trico, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They walked away with a 40-29 victory over Zeigler-Royalton on Saturday.

Carlyle's defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 8-1. As for Trico, their win bumped their record up to 2-7.

Carlyle didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Trico when the teams last played back in December of 2022, but they still walked away with a 39-33 victory. Will Carlyle repeat their success, or does Trico have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
