Volleyball Recap: Beaver Find Success

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Beaver had no problem doing just that on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Maeser Prep Academy Lions. That's more bragging rights for the Beavers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Beaver easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-13.

Jerzee Beaumont paced Beaver's offense, picking up six kills. Beaumont got some help from Ainsley Brown and her 11 assists. Beaumont was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Beaver's win bumped their record up to 10-17. As for Maeser Prep Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 18-13.

Beaver has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Draper APA on the 2nd. Maeser Prep Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
