Volleyball Recap: South Bend Riley Wildcats vs. South Bend Adams Eagles
South Bend Riley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the South Bend Adams Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in August.
The final score came out to 25-18, 25-20, 25-15.
Ma'Nijah Harris paced South Bend Riley's offense, picking up five kills. Harris got some help from Teriana Brown and her 17 assists. Harris was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.
South Bend Riley's defeat dropped their record down to 8-27. As for South Bend Adams, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 11-10.
Coming up, South Bend Riley will head out to challenge Whitko at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for South Bend Adams, after both having extra time off, they and Michigan City will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
