After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Petal, Picayune was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They blew past the Pearl River Central Blue Devils 3-0. The win was some much needed relief for the Maroon Tide as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-19, 25-13.

Picayune's victory bumped their record up to 5-13. As for Pearl River Central, they are on an 18-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-17.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Picayune is set to take on their familiar foe Long Beach at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Pearl River Central will challenge rival Hancock at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
