Basketball Recap: University's Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

University's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They managed a 50-44 win over the Lake Brantley Patriots. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 52-30 back in December of 2024.

Lake Brantley's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Olivia White, who posted 14 points. Another player making a difference was Maddie Woodrow, who earned 12 points.

University moved to 7-5 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Lake Brantley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-11.

University will host Osceola at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lake Brantley, they will head out to challenge Olympia at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
