Basketball Recap: Dorman Skates Past Eastside with Ease

Dorman was handed a heart-breaking three-point defeat in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Eastside on Tuesday. The Dorman Cavaliers claimed a resounding 59-19 victory over the Eastside Eagles. The Cavaliers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 21 points or more this season.

Morgan White continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double with 20 points and ten boards. The match was her 12th in a row with at least 17 points. Another player making a difference was Makayla Moore, who posted nine points along with six rebounds and five assists.

Dorman smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in 13 consecutive games.

Dorman has been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.7 points over those games. As for Eastside, their loss dropped their record down to 6-17.

Coming up, Dorman and Wade Hampton will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played. Dorman is facing Wade Hampton at the right time seeing as Wade Hampton is stuck on a 15-game losing streak.
