Volleyball Recap: St. Lucy's Takes a Loss

St. Lucy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Hesperia Christian Patriots.

St. Lucy's loss dropped their record down to 10-16. As for Hesperia Christian, the win (which was their 21st in a row) raised their record to 23-5.

St. Lucy's wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Arcadia on the 11th. As for Hesperia Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against University on the 11th.
