Volleyball Recap: Anais Ibarra Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Fort Bend Austin

Antonian Prep won the last time they faced Fort Bend Austin and things went their way on Thursday too. The Apaches came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 2-0.

Antonian Prep got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Anais Ibarra out in front who had eight assists and four aces. Carley Leal was another key player, getting eight digs and four assists.

Antonian Prep has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for Fort Bend Austin, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-7.

Antonian Prep didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Brandeis on the 21st. As for Fort Bend Austin, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Cedar Park on the 21st.
