Fannin County waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Gilmer Bobcats. This was a revenge game for the Rebels: when they faced off against the Bobcats two weeks ago, they had to take a 2-1 loss.

Fannin County had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 13-25, 25-15, 15-9.

Fannin County's victory bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Gilmer, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-10.

Looking ahead, Fannin County will be playing in front of their home fans against Union County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Gilmer, they will head out to face off against Heritage at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
