California City and Rosamond are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2019, but not for long. The California City Ravens will head out on the road to take on the Rosamond Roadrunners at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.
On Tuesday, California City humbled Boron with an 81-37 victory. The Ravens have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 24 points or more this season.

California City found their leader in sophomore Cassius 'Hollywood' Brown, who posted 23 points. Brown's evening made it eight games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Avery 'Skywalker' Spears, who scored 15 points.

California City has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.2 points per game. As for Rosamond, their victory bumped their record up to 8-10.
Everything came up roses for California City against Rosamond when the teams last played back in December of 2024, as the squad secured a 73-46 win.
