Puyallup waltzed into their contest on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They never let the Spanaway Lake Sentinels get on the board and left with a 6-0 victory. Given Puyallup's advantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked second, while Spanaway Lake are ranked 129th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Puyallup pushed their record up to 12-1-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 36 goals over those six matchups. As for Spanaway Lake, they now have a losing record of 5-6-1.

Coming up, Puyallup will venture away from home to take on Bellarmine Prep at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Bellarmine Prep will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Puyallup surely won't give up without a fight. As for Spanaway Lake, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Graham-Kapowsin at 7:00 p.m.
