Volleyball Recap: Agawam Brownies vs. Frontier Regional Red Hawks
Agawam lost against Frontier Regional back in September of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Agawam Brownies fell just short of the Frontier Regional Red Hawks by a score of 3-2. The Brownies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Agawam wouldn't go down easily and took Frontier Regional into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking nine-point loss. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-19, 19-25, 20-25, 15-6.
Hannah Davis had an outrageously good game for Frontier Regional as she had 31 digs.
Agawam's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Frontier Regional, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Agawam will stay at home for another game and welcome Ludlow at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Ludlow will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Agawam surely won't give up without a fight. As for Frontier Regional, they will challenge Westfield at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
