Basketball Game Preview: Shoemaker Wolves vs. Temple Wildcats

The Shoemaker Wolves will face off against the Temple Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Shoemaker took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 72-50 margin over Bryan. The Wolves haven't had any issues with the Vikings recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Temple and Killeen have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Friday. The Wildcats simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Kangaroos 67-34.

Shoemaker's win bumped their record up to 18-11. As for Temple, they now have a winning record of 16-15.

Shoemaker was able to grind out a solid victory over Temple in their previous meeting back in January, winning 63-53. Do the Wolves have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wildcats turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
