Softball Recap: Woodland Takes a Loss

Woodland fell victim to Marquette and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Crusaders, falling 18-0. The defeat was just more heartbreak for the Warriors, who fell 3-1 when the teams last met back in March of 2024.

Woodland's loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Marquette, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-1.

Marquette has already played their next matchup (against Eureka), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Woodland will be paying especially close attention to the Crusaders' game: after the Crusaders faces off against the Hornets, they'll take on Woodland again at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
