Baptist Prep won the last time they faced Hazen and things went their way on Thursday too. The Eagles blew past the Hornets 10-2. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by eight runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Austin Herring, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. Nick Boyette was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Baptist Prep was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .387. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .381 or higher in three consecutive contests.

Baptist Prep's win bumped their record up to 10-3-1. As for Hazen, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.
