Volleyball Recap: East Nicolaus Picks Up Sixth Consecutive Win

East Nicolaus waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came out on top against the Quincy Trojans by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 on Monday.

Kendall Kocher paced East Nicolaus' offense, picking up seven kills. Kocher got some help from Shelby Scoggins and her 17 assists. Kocher also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Ashlynn Tagala, racking up three apiece.

East Nicolaus' victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Quincy, with the defeat, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-4.

Coming up, East Nicolaus will be playing in front of their home fans against River Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Quincy, they will head out on the road to challenge Modoc at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
