Southern Nash needed a changed in momentum after dropping three straight games and they got it from Anastasia Fields. The Southern Nash Firebirds came out on top against the Northern Nash Knights by a score of 47-37 on Monday with plenty of help from Fields, who almost dropped a double-double with 18 points and nine boards. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points.

Another player making a difference was Terri Richardson, who posted five points in addition to nine rebounds and seven assists. She has become a key player for Southern Nash: the team is undefeated when she posts at least eight boards, but 5-11 otherwise.

Southern Nash's victory bumped their record up to 10-11. As for Northern Nash, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-13.

Southern Nash wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 60-41 loss against Rocky Mount on the 18th. As for Northern Nash, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 78-26 defeat against Western Alamance on the 25th.
