Basketball Recap: Argenta-Oreana Comes Up Short

Argenta-Oreana lost against Warrensburg-Latham back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bombers took a blow against the Cardinals, falling 81-42. The Bombers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-16.

Jaxon Finch and Kamryn Stokes certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Finch shot 50% from the field to rack up 18 points, while Stokes posted ten points.

Argenta-Oreana's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-5. As for Warrensburg-Latham, they pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Argenta-Oreana wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 66-47 victory against Mt. Olive on the 6th. As for Warrensburg-Latham, they will head out to square off against Meridian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
