Whitehaven entered their tilt with White Station on Friday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They came out on top against the Spartans by a score of 51-38. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 16th, while the Spartans are ranked 97th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Whitehaven's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jala Wilson, who almost dropped a double-double with 13 points and nine rebounds. Wilson is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was La'Niyah Moore, who went 6-for-10 on her way to 13 points and eight boards.

Despite the loss, White Station still got an impressive performance from Charity Relliford, who shot 50% from the field to rack up 13 points. Lily Pruitt was another key player, putting up ten points.

Whitehaven's victory bumped their record up to 19-3. As for White Station, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-8.
