After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Patterson, Edna Karr was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Landry Buccaneers a 15-0 shutout. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Cougars considering their one-run performance the contest before.

Jabri Johnson was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). Johnson was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with three RBI, one stolen base, and one double.
