Albany Academy for Boys is 9-1 against Ichabod Crane since May of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Cadets will challenge the Riders at 4:30 p.m. Albany Academy for Boys will be strutting in after a win while Ichabod Crane will be coming in after a defeat.

While Cadets fans will have to keep waiting for their team to come home, they shouldn't be too worried about the road trip considering the result of Thursday's season opener. They skirted past Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk 7-6.

Brody Staff was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and one double. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024. Nick Faiola was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

Albany Academy for Boys was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .379. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk only posted a batting average of .160.

Meanwhile, Ichabod Crane lost 10-2 to Ballston Spa on Friday.

Albany Academy for Boys took their victory against Ichabod Crane when the teams last played back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 12-2 score. Do the Cadets have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Riders turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
