Soccer Game Preview: Bravo vs. Lincoln

The Bravo Knights will take on the Lincoln Tigers at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Bravo's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Last Friday, Bravo didn't have quite enough to beat Marshall and fell 2-1. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 970th, while the Barristers are ranked 189th).

Meanwhile, Lincoln was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of Eagle Rock. The contest was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Tigers couldn't quite close it out.

Bravo's loss dropped their record down to 3-6-1. As for Lincoln, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7-2.
