Recap: South Stokes Sauras vs. Eastern Randolph Wildcats

With a playoff game on the line, the South Stokes Sauras rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They took down the Wildcats 88-72. The victory was nothing new for South Stokes as they're now sitting on 15 straight.

Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was William Stalker, who scored 16 points along with eight rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Stalker has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Timothy Brower, who scored 17 points along with five assists.

South Stokes pushed their record up to 28-1 with that win, which was their 13th straight at home. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 31.1 points. As for Eastern Randolph, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-11.

South Stokes will stay at home for another game and welcome Thomasville at 7:00 p.m. on March 8th. South Stokes knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past 15 matchups -- so hopefully Thomasville likes a good challenge.
