There's no place like home for Western Reserve, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They blew past the Jackson-Milton Bluejays 60-34 on Thursday. The Blue Devils have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 20 points or more this season.

Despite the defeat, Jackson-Milton saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Amani Yasin posted 22 points and six steals. That was a full 64.7% of Jackson-Milton's points, marking the ninth time in a row she's put up more than a third of the team's points.

Western Reserve's victory bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Jackson-Milton, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-9 record this season.

Western Reserve will be playing in front of their home fans against Springfield at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Springfield will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Western Reserve surely won't give up without a fight. As for Jackson-Milton, they will head out to challenge Lowellville at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
