Football Game Recap: Davenport Central vs. Muscatine

The last time they met ? Davenport Central was the 40-7 winner over Muscatine. This time around? They had no such luck. On Thursday, Davenport Central lost to Muscatine by a decisive 6-23 margin. The loss was a vexing one since Davenport Central was expected to win based on their state ranking. This was the first contest for both squads, starting Davenport Central off on the wrong foot at 0-1, while giving Muscatine a 1-0 record.

Next week, Davenport Central take on North Scott at 7:00 PM. Neither Davenport Central nor North Scott could muster much offensive firepower in their last games, so look to the defense to decide this one. As for Muscatine, they will face of against Jefferson.
