Basketball Recap: Dover Takes a Loss

Dover was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They were dealt a 92-28 loss at the hands of the York Suburban Trojans. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 683rd, while the Trojans are ranked 128th).

Dover's defeat dropped their record down to 1-15. As for York Suburban, their win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dover will face off against Kennard-Dale at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Dover is facing Kennard-Dale at the right time seeing as Kennard-Dale is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for York Suburban, they will square off against Eastern York at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Eastern York will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something York Suburban surely won't give up without a fight.
