Baseball Recap: Taconic Hills' Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Taconic Hills entered their tilt with Pine Plains on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Bombers 13-3. For the Titans, this counts as revenge for the 10-3 win the Bombers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2022.

Tristan Super made a big impact no matter where he played. He struck out 13 batters over five innings while giving up three earned runs off only one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. He has become a key player for Taconic Hills: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 1-2 otherwise.

In other batting news, Francis Conners-Schmid was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Jacob Alvarez also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Taconic Hills' record now sits at 7-2. As for Pine Plains, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Looking ahead, Taconic Hills will be playing at home against Chatham at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Pine Plains, they are taking a road trip to take on Ellenville at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
