Barringer is a perfect 6-0 against Orange since May of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Blue Bears will look to defend their home field against the Tornadoes at 4:00 p.m. Barringer's pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so Orange's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Barringer is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Bloomfield just ended the team's ten-game winning streak on Wednesday. They lost 17-2 to the Bengals. The Blue Bears were red-hot at the plate heading into the contest (they scored no less than ten runs in the ten games prior), but the Bengals' pitchers proved too tough.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Orange). They put the hurt on North Star Academy with a sharp 24-14 win on Tuesday. The Tornadoes might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by ten runs or more this season.

Orange pushed their record up to 3-3-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 20.3 runs over those games. As for Barringer, their loss dropped their record down to 10-2.

Everything went Barringer's way against Orange in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as Barringer made off with a 21-11 victory. Will the Blue Bears repeat their success, or do the Tornadoes have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
