Basketball Game Preview: Elite Academy Eagles vs. Poinciana Christian Preparatory Eagles

Elite Academy just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face Poinciana Christian Preparatory at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Elite Academy has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 182 points over their last three contests.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Elite Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Levi Brown, who posted 21 points along with five assists and three steals. Those three steals gave Brown a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Liam Burell, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and 11 boards.

Meanwhile, Poinciana Christian Preparatory won against Varsity Opponent last Thursday with 69 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Thursday. The Eagles came out on top in a nail-biter against Zephyrhills Christian Academy, sneaking past 69-66. The victory was familiar territory for the Eagles, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Poinciana Christian Preparatory's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Elite Academy, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
