Baseball Recap: Idalou Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Idalou's offense. They came up short against the Shallowater Mustangs on Tuesday, falling 10-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-6 back in March.

This is the second loss in a row for Idalou and nudges their season record down to 10-13-1. As for Shallowater, their victory was their 11th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 24-2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Idalou will face off against rival Friona at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Shallowater is set to take on their familiar foe Muleshoe at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
