Basketball Recap: Piggott Takes a Loss

Piggott was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Marmaduke Greyhounds an easy 64-44 win. The Mohawks lost against the Greyhounds in their previous head to head back in November of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 67-25 score last time.

Piggott's record now sits at 1-8. As for Marmaduke, the victory got them back to even at 10-10.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing East Poinsett County the next time they take the court. Piggott will host East Poinsett County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Marmaduke will host them at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
