Baseball Recap: East Ridge Comes Up Short

East Ridge fell victim to West Orange and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Warriors, falling 10-0. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Knights' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

East Ridge has also been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 13 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-16 record this season. As for West Orange, they pushed their record up to 19-6 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home.

Looking ahead, East Ridge will challenge Freedom at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Patriots will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Knights surely won't give up without a fight. West Orange does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
