             Rocky Mount Academy never let their opponents score on Friday. They blew past the Father Capodanno Grunts, posting  a  59-0 win on the road. The Eagles' offense checked out after the first half but had enough  points banked to take the game anyway.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Rocky Mount Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Gehrig Miller, who threw for 111 yards and three touchdowns while completing 85.7% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.  Ayden Lovely was another key back, rushing for 58 yards and two touchdowns.
 Rocky Mount Academy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as  Kaiden Pulley,  Miller,  and  Ethan Bellamy picked up one apiece.
 Rocky Mount Academy is  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four matchups,  which provided a massive bump to their 4-5 record  this season. As for Father Capodanno,  they are  on  a  seven-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 0-7.
 Rocky Mount Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Faith Christian  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Faith Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 41.3  points per game  this season. As for Father Capodanno, they will venture away from home to  square off against Cary Christian  at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. Cary Christian knows how to get  points on the board -- the  squad has finished with 31 points or more in their past five matches -- so hopefully Father Capodanno likes a good challenge.
