Baseball Recap: Kittatinny Regional Takes a Loss

Kittatinny Regional was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Hackettstown Tigers, falling 13-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-2 last Wednesday.

Kittatinny Regional's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Hackettstown, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 5-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kittatinny Regional will host Hopatcong at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Chiefs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.5 runs per game on average), something the Cougars will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Hackettstown, they will face off against Delaware Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
