Softball Recap: Frankenmuth Comes Up Short

After flying high against Hemlock on Wednesday, Frankenmuth came back down to earth. The Eagles fell 8-3 to the Huskies on Wednesday. The Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Huskies earlier this season, when they won 11-1.

Frankenmuth saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aliyah Sprowl, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Frankenmuth's defeat dropped their record down to 11-3. As for Hemlock, their victory bumped their record up to 9-6.

Looking ahead, Frankenmuth will square off against Millington at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hemlock, they will face off against Valley Lutheran at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Chargers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.75 runs per game on average), something the Huskies will no doubt try to take advantage of.
