The matchup between Portsmouth and Nashua South on Friday hardly resembled the 4-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Clippers put the hurt on the Purple Panthers with a sharp 16-3 win. The Clippers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by six runs or more this season.

Portsmouth now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Nashua South, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6-1 record this season.
