Northside - Jacksonville has gone 9-1 against Havelock recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Monarchs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Rams at 6:00 p.m. Northside - Jacksonville will be strutting in after a victory while Havelock will be coming in after a defeat.

Havelock better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if Northside - Jacksonville's game on Thursday is any indication, that's when Northside - Jacksonville really gets things going. The Monarchs blew past West Carteret 4-1. The result was nothing new for Northside - Jacksonville, who have now won five matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Havelock fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Dixon on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, Havelock can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 417th, while Dixon are ranked 95th).

The win made it two in a row for Northside - Jacksonville and bumps their season record up to 9-4-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored six goals over those two matchups. As for Havelock, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.
