Volleyball Recap: Junipero Serra Victorious

Junipero Serra picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over The Nueva School Mavericks. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Padres.

Junipero Serra easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-7.

Junipero Serra's victory bumped their record up to 9-6. As for The Nueva School, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Junipero Serra will welcome Saint Francis at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for The Nueva School, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against East Palo Alto Academy at 4:30 p.m. The match will give East Palo Alto Academy their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season.
