Recap: Lemon Bay Manta Rays vs. Aubrey Rogers Patriots
On Monday, Lemon Bay didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Aubrey Rogers, but they still walked away with a 57-53 win.
Lemon Bay got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Maya Collins out in front who scored 19 points along with five steals. Collins is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Shania Leubin, who scored seven points along with three steals.
Lemon Bay's win bumped their record up to 9-11. As for Aubrey Rogers, they dropped their record down to 13-5 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
Lemon Bay will face off against Aubrey Rogers at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Aubrey Rogers, they will look to defend their home court against Lemon Bay at 7:30 p.m. Hopefully Lemon Bay focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 22 on Monday.
