Riverview won the last time they faced Blake and things went their way on Thursday too. The Sharks blew past the Yellow Jackets 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Sharks.

Riverview's got stronger as the match went on, holding Blake to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-9, 25-7.

Brooke Schoening paced Riverview's offense, picking up five kills. Schoening got some help from Cloee Myers and her 12 assists. Schoening was also solid from the service line: she led the team with nine aces.

The victory got Riverview back to even at 7-7. As for Blake, their loss dropped their record down to 0-14.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Riverview will venture away from home to challenge Sumner at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Blake, they are taking a road trip to square off against Middleton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Yellow Jackets are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
