Basketball Game Preview: Parker Thundering Herd vs. Ramsay Rams

Parker is 2-8 against Ramsay since December of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Parker Thundering Herd will venture away from home to take on the Ramsay Rams.

Parker is headed into Saturday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their tenth straight game on Saturday. They took a 39-29 hit to the loss column at the hands of Anniston.

Parker might have lost, but man, Teralyn Hill was a machine: she dropped a double-double on 20 points and 12 blocks. The contest was Hill's fourth in a row with at least ten points.

Meanwhile, Ramsay had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 54-23 win over the Wolves. The Rams have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Parker's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Ramsay, their victory bumped their record up to 14-7.

Parker was taken down by Ramsay 59-32 in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. Can Parker avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
