            Volleyball Recap: Palm Desert Aztecs vs. Paloma Valley Wildcats        
        
		
        
        
            Palm Desert was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight  defeat. They took  a  2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Paloma Valley Wildcats. The Aztecs were not able to make up for their  loss to the Wildcats from their previous meeting  back in September of 2019.
 Paloma Valley was led to victory by  Abigail Johnston and  Malia Jones.  Johnston  had 23 assists and two  aces, while  Jones  had four  digs and three  aces. That's the most  assists  Johnston has posted  over her last five  contests.
Palm Desert's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Paloma Valley,  the  victory made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 10-1.
 Palm Desert didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  match,  a  1-0  win against La Quinta on the 16th. As for Paloma Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  game,  a  3-0  victory against Yucaipa on the 18th.
